Expensive orders (over £5,000)
Expensive purchases that cost more than £5,000 will need three quotes from different suppliers (if possible) to justify that cost. If your order is greater
than £25,000, then you will need to fill out a form associated with capital assets and the budget holder will need to fill out a business case. If you face a
situation where you need to make expensive orders, you may wish to consult Julie Samson (for Simon Building) or Gemma Coleman (for Williamson
Building) for further advice.
