Registering to Buy Things Using i-Proc and eMarketplace
To apply for access to i-Proc and eMarketplace to enable you to submit requisitions (buy stuff), then you’ll need to follow the instructions below:-
1.
Visit the registration page
(Note: For completeness, this page can be found from scratch by visiting the IT Services website, click on IT Training in the left navbar, click on 'courses for staff', click on
‘Oracle Financials’ in the left navbar, click the ‘BAS Access Request’ link in the 'Accessing Oracle Financials' section at the bottom, click 'Access Request' — round the houses;
hence the direct link!)
2.
Click the I agree to comply checkbox and click the Submit button
4.
Select Oracle Financials from the drop-down menu and click the Get Roles button
5.
In the long list of options that appears on the next page, select the checkbox next to Raise Requisitions
6.
Continue to fill in your details at the bottom of that page. In the Faculty/School/Division drop-down menu, select Faculty of Engineering and Physical Sciences - School of
Earth, Atmospheric and Environmental Sciences. In the Purchasing Unit drop-down menu, select EAZ - School of Earth, Atmospheric and Environmental Sciences.
The IP address is not actually required. However, to find your IP address (in Windows—we welcome instructions and screenshots from MAC / Linux users), go to a command
prompt, type ipconfig /all, and press enter. In the text that appears, look for the line marked IPv4 address (the exact name may differ depending on which Windows version
you are using). The associated number is your IP address and should have the format ###.###.###.### (e.g. 192.168.1.2).
Once your application is approved by IT Services, you will receive an email to direct you to the Blackboard e-learning site to complete the required training (just bear with it...). Once
complete, you should receive your password which will allow you to log on to i-Proc and eMarketplace and start buying.
Again, further information about registration can be found on the Finance page of StaffNet.
Please visit our using i-Proc and eMarketplace page where we give some tips on how to place orders more easily from our experience.
